LUCID
Joel Rothman is a psychologist, who’s been assigned three patients known as Group 209. His supervisor wants him to discharge and release them to the public system. But for his own personal reasons, Joel wants to continue their therapy.
Each patient begins to wonder if something else is going on. They see and experience “Repeaters,” versions of themselves in different situations and locations. Victor, the more violent of the group, believes they are part of an experiment. It is not beyond his imagination that they are lying in a basement with wires attached to each other. Chandra does not believe that the Repeaters are a delusion. She knows they are real. And Sophie is content that she is just crazy and can only be fixed with medication.
As Joel’s personal life derails, his patients’ episodes become more vivid and frequent, until Joel also begins to experience the Repeaters and violent flashbacks. The group comes to the conclusion that he is one of them, and option to kill him. But who are they? And where are they in the span of life and death?
